If you liked Obama because you were sure he would appoint a liberal foreign policy team, sorry: you were wrong. The president-elect will introduce his choices today. Hillary Clinton, a hawk on foreign affairs issues, will be secretary of state. General James L. Jones, former commander of NATO, will be Obama’s national security adviser. Defense secretary Robert Gates, who was appointed by Bush-Cheney, will keep his office under Obama-Biden.
